Dance With A Partner – Terms and Conditions

1. Payment

Payment for all courses must be made in advance. We accept BACS transfer. Please contact contact@dancewithapartner.co.uk to receive our bank details. Once payment is made, retain your confirmation email or receipt as proof of payment.

Dance With A Partner operates on a course basis and does not offer drop-in lessons. Once you sign up for a course, you are required to pay for the full course or, if joining late, the pro-rata fee for the remaining lessons.

2. Cancellation

Group Lessons

Once a course has been paid for, individual lessons cannot be refunded or cancelled.

Private Lessons

Private lessons must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Some studios may impose longer cancellation periods beyond our control. If a lesson is cancelled within 48 hours, the full fee will be payable.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Dance With A Partner is not liable for missed lessons due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, transport disruption, or strike action, provided that we are able to provide the venue, instructor, and correct number of partners.

Late Joiners

Clients joining a course after it has started will be charged a pro-rata fee for the remaining classes.

3. What to Wear

Clients should wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement. Please note:

  • Avoid clothing that is too hot or restrictive.

  • Proper dance shoes with leather soles are required.

  • Women must use heel protectors unless their heels are flared.

  • Street shoes are not permitted, as they can damage studio floors.

  • Trainers are not suitable for dance classes.

4. Partners and Instructors

All partners and instructors are contractually bound to Dance With A Partner and may not accept bookings directly from a client, including private events, practice sessions, performances, or other functions.

If a client wishes to hire an instructor or partner for a private function or event, all requests must be referred to the Director of Dance With A Partner, who will negotiate fees and ensure proper arrangements.

Non-Solicitation

All teachers and partners are prohibited from soliciting or accepting work from Dance With A Partner clients for one yearafter leaving the company.

Client Contract Terms

Clients may not change the terms of any agreement with Dance With A Partner without express written approval from the Director. This protects both clients and instructors and ensures proper billing and payment. Please respect this term to avoid placing our team in breach of their contracts.

5. Liability

Clients participate in all classes at their own risk. Dance With A Partner shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in classes, except where required by law.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
